The 2018 Single Person Marathon Row to ask you to change our unsustainable lifestyle choices and single-use packaging habits
Why row 42,195m?
Because I want your plastic.
Join my mission to change our everyday shopping and consumption behaviours to reduce plastic waste and the use of high-resource consumables altogether. Our world is at a tipping point, we need to change our behaviour toward a sustainable model when sourcing our everyday household goods to create change. Let's detach from the consumerism that we have learned to accept, cut back to a more simple lifestyle and live sustainably. We are killing wildlife, our habitat and our children's future with poor lifestyle choices.
I strongly believe we can create change by buying local & sustainably, from small business and unpackaged.
We can all contribute in little ways to help us achieve collective change and most importantly put pressure on industry giants to provide better, sustainable options.
Would you sponsor me if I asked for cash for a charity?
You very likely would.
But keep your money. Instead, decide the amount you would pay in and pick your substitutions from my plastic currency.
